Kanok Wan’s story with woodworking started from his childhood. He was inspired by his grandfather and uncle, who were both carpenters. Since then, he has been deeply fascinated by woodworking. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Creative Media at the City University of Hong Kong in 2009, he developed his career as an interior designer, working on many projects related to woodworking, and rented a studio to do it as a hobby. After a few years, he founded HK Bros & Co., putting his full effort into woodworking.

HK Bros & Co. focuses on custom-made furniture with solid wood, fitting out for residential & commercial projects. Through the reproduction of old Hong Kong furniture, Kanok hopes to extract its iconic features and create wooden furniture with distinctive local characteristics, perpetuating stories carried by furniture through crafts and to pass them on.
